Building of the Temple - Joshua

So while building the Aztec Temple I had to think about keeping it symmetrical as the Aztec's used symmetry in a lot of the buildings.

- Doesn't really matter if Gero walks through walls and buildings - Because he is a god.

8th February - Work achieved

Today, the group had managed to finalize the main story, up until the final cutscene, as well as the main objective of the game and narrow down Geras' personality.

We have names for the characters These are:

Geras: the Time god in power.
Gnomon: The shadow creatures (enemies)
Gero: The god trying to fix everything
Isra: Thriving Future character
Seth: Modern Day character
Niles: Wasteland Character
Takeo: Samurai Character
Rajius: Roman Gladiator Character
We also managed to finalize the whole map, and the demo map.
Colour Codes:
Red areas: Samurai
Yellow Areas: Aztec City
Orange: Prehistoric
grey: Rome.
Blue: Thriving Future city
Purple: Modern Day
Brown: post apocalyptic Future City

Future Era: Apocalyptic - Michael Ghamloush

The Apocalyptic Era would correlate to the non Apocalyptic era, the styles would be similiar but the necessary apocalyptic theme will be applied through the use of atmosphere, scenario, and character design.


The Clothing of The Apocalyptic Era consists of Clothing that actually matters, things that keep you safe. I've noticed that all characters based on the apocayptic era are always struggling to survive because of the atmosphere they have to survive in, forcing them to use cloaks, warm clothes, hoods, gas masks due to exposure to radiant gases and sunglasses because the sun is so bright. Weapons seem very consistant as Poeple of this era will be struggling not only against the atmosphere but other poeple. They will have to learn how to create their own personal weapons like clubs and axes as weapons are a popular asset to survival. There Wear is teared and worn and will never seem new, the clothing is tattered and broken and scratched and dirty.


 
The Areas of the Apocalyptic Era are very run down. Either with OverGrowth or Destruction. Depending on how the new Era began. If the map is based on a cityscape then buildings will be torn and walls will be open, even entire floors broken, or entire buildings Tilted onto their side. The Sky always seems Gloomy and clowdy from pollution however clear skies could be due to the earth repairing intself over time. On the rides there will be lots of rubble, holes in the floor leading to the subway system, vehicles, holes in walls, collapsed buildings and many more afflicted areas.

Since we are all going to be in today (apart from Taj who is on his business trip) we decided to have a group meeting and discuss following list below. 
 
- Map layout
- Enemy/boss designs
- Character names
- Ruins research
- Back stories

Future Era: Non apocalyptic - Emma Haley

 Futuristic Era would be thriving with technology, tall buildings, and unique weapons that would cover the skies and maybe even block it out.
 
 
The buildings have unique shapes with almost sharp edges which keep it clean but also allow it to be more crowded. They're not as symterical and are often overcrowded and almost look clumped together.
 

 
The weapons are also clean, but they have intricate and twisted designs, that always add value to the weapon or support it. improving they keep the basic shapes of present day weapons but adding to it with advanced tech, not usually using the standard bullets.
 
There is also the standard blades which could be powered up with electricity to make it more lethal.
 
Another weapons would be a glove which could produce the elements like fire, lightning and ice. but this would be more fitted the character design than the era.
 
 
The people of this era range differently in dressware, depending also on the character. but it's usually tight fitting clothing, with sharp lines that fit with the whole scenary. they could also be standard colours but baggy, depending on the environment/place the city is based in.
